Softball Recap: Tascosa Comes Up Short

Tascosa lost against Amarillo back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rebels came up short against the Sandies, falling 15-8. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vanessa Langeland made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 3-for-4. Kassidy Langeland was another key player, firing off two home runs while going 2-for-4.

Tascosa's defeat dropped their record down to 16-20. As for Amarillo, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7-1 record this season.

Tascosa will square off against Lubbock-Cooper at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Amarillo, they will take on Lubbock at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
