Baseball Game Preview: St. Augustine Saints vs. Point Loma Pointers + How To Watch

For the second straight game, St. Augustine will face off against Point Loma. The Saints will welcome the Pointers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Augustine will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.

On Wednesday, St. Augustine made easy work of Point Loma and carried off an 11-1 victory. That looming 11-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Saints yet this season.

St. Augustine got a great performance from Declan Higgins as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Higgins is becoming a predictor of the Saints' success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 4-2 (and 4-8 when he doesn't).
