Football Recap: Glenwood Springs Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Glenwood Springs's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 35-0 to the Eagle Valley Devils, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss continues a trend for the Demons in their meetings with the Devils: they've now lost three in a row.

Eagle Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Keaden Lake led the charge by picking up 67 receiving yards and one score, while also punching in one rushing score. Daniel Anderson got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Glenwood Springs now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Eagle Valley, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Coincidentally, Glenwood Springs and Eagle Valley will both be playing Rifle the next time they take the field. The Demons will host the Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Devils will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
