Baseball Recap: Strawberry Crest's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

After flying high against Lennard last Saturday, Strawberry Crest came back down to earth. The Chargers fell just short of the Wharton Wildcats by a score of 2-0 on Monday. If the Chargers were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Strawberry Crest moved to 16-5 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Wharton, they pushed their record up to 17-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Strawberry Crest wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Alonso on the 3rd. As for Wharton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-2 defeat against Jefferson on the 3rd.
