Rock Island has gone a perfect 10-0 against Galesburg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The team relied heavily on A'Rion Lonergan, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 12 games. The team also got some help courtesy of Mallory Hudnall, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Rock Island kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive matchups.

Galesburg's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Rock Island hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .316. It's a different story for Galesburg, though, as they've only averaged .201. Will they be able to contain Rock Island's hitters?
Everything went Rock Island's way against Galesburg in their previous matchup back in April, as Rock Island made off with a 6-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rocks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
