While San Diego didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves by a score of 63-55 on Monday. The victory was familiar territory for the Cavers who have now won six contests in a row.

San Diego's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-5 record.

San Diego and Wiseburn- Da Vinci should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. San Diego (ranked 224th) will meet King/Drew (ranked 954th) at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wiseburn- Da Vinci (ranked 120th) will meet Artesia (ranked 447th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
