Final 2021 Top 30 national high school football composite rankings

MaxPreps National Champion Mater Dei ends season as consensus No. 1 team after dominating 12-0 season.

Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA) goes wire-to-wire as the No. 1 team in the country and Graham-Kapowsin (Graham, WA) makes the biggest jump in the final rankings going from one of the first teams out of the Top 25 to No. 11 after beating Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA) 40-36. The loss dropped Collins Hill from No. 3 to No. 12.

This time a year ago Westlake (Austin, Texas) still had four remaining games to play, Bergen Catholic (Oradell, N.J.) had wrapped up a six game season, and Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.), Servite (Anaheim, Calif.), and St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) wouldn't see the field until the spring. A year later they finish atop of the final Top 30 national high school football composite rankings.

The Monarchs finish the season as the consensus national champion by MaxPreps, CalPreps and High School Football America after beating five opponents that finished in the top 12. The Southern California power joins Servite and St. John Bosco as three teams all from the same league that finish in the top 5.

Only schools recognized within all three Top 100 media outlets are eligible for inclusion in the composite Top 25 rankings. You also have to land in one of the three polls Top 25 to be considered.

Mater Dei finished as the consensus No. 1 high school football team in the country.
