Soccer Game Preview: Pasco vs. South Sumter + Official Tickets

The Pasco Pirates are taking a road trip to square off against the South Sumter Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Pasco is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Pasco is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They lost 9-4 to Patel on Friday. Peyton Wheatley is probably feeling rather frustrated with she team right now: they lost despite she posting three goals.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 2-2 at halftime, South Sumter was not quite Tavares' equal in the second half on Friday. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. South Sumter fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Tavares since Friday.

South Sumter now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Pasco, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Pasco skirted past South Sumter 1-0 when the teams last played back in November. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
