Softball Recap: Louisburg Comes Up Short

Louisburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Ottawa Cyclones. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cyclones this season, with their most recent defeat being a 7-6 loss on Thursday.

Louisburg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ottawa, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Louisburg is set to take on their familiar foe Spring Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ottawa will face off against rival Bonner Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
