Volleyball Recap: Northwest's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

Northwest lost against Stover last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs. The shutout was out of character for the Mustangs seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Stover found their leader in sophomore Teagan Morris, who had ten digs and two assists.

The loss snapped Northwest's winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 15-6-2 record. As for Stover, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7-3 record this season.

Northwest has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Lincoln on the 11th. As for Stover, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Sacred Heart on the 11th.
