Baseball Recap: Hedgesville Comes Up Short

Hedgesville fell victim to Kellam and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 7-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hedgesville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Pence, who went 2-for-3 with one triple. That triple marked the first that Pence hit this season.

Hedgesville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Kellam, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hedgesville will challenge Green Run at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Kellam, they will square off against Norfolk Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
