Marshall and Luther squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Marshall had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Knights. The Cardinals' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Summer Hellenbrand paced Marshall's offense, picking up 20 kills. Hellenbrand got some help from Ava Neuberger and her 38 assists. Neuberger also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kenzie Logan, each putting up three.
Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 26-11. As for Luther, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 21-10.
Marshall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Luther, they will challenge Barron on Friday.
