Basketball Recap: Antelope Comes Up Short

Antelope lost against Inderkum back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Titans were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 54-53 to the Tigers. The loss was the Titans' first of the season.

Jaeden Goodman had another great game (as he tends to do), almost dropping a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds for Inderkum. With that strong performance, Goodman is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Jaeden Claxton was another key player, putting up nine points and five boards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Antelope fell to 5-1. As for Inderkum, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Antelope will venture away from home to square off against Vista del Lago at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 63.33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Inderkum, they will take on Redwood in a tournament on Thursday. The Tigers will be up against the Giants' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56.4 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
