Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

New Albany's loss dropped their record down to 21-10. As for Tishomingo County, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Braves beat New Albany by a score of 2-1 later that day.
