Colony entered their tilt with Wasilla on Monday with 13 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 14. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Warriors. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won 14 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Colony let Saibree Noll and Alli Morrissey run wild. Noll went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run, while Morrissey went 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI Morrissey has posted over her last 11 games. Taylor Passard was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Colony kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matchups.

Colony's win bumped their record up to 24-2. As for Wasilla, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7-1.

Coming up, Colony will head out on the road to face off against North Pole at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wasilla, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Soldotna at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
