Baseball Game Preview: Gar-Field Red Wolves vs. Potomac Senior Panthers

For the second straight game, Gar-Field will face off against Potomac Senior. The Red Wolves will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Gar-Field will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Gar-Field got their first taste of in-conference action on Wednesday and they started things off strong. They walked away with a 7-4 win over Potomac Senior.

For Potomac Senior's part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sean Farry, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Farry has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played. Landon Jones also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Gar-Field's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-8. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Potomac Senior, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
