Basketball Recap: Seaside Piles Up the Points Against Gladstone

There's no place like home for Seaside, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 59-22 stomp they got against the Gladstone Gladiators. That 37 point margin sets a new team best for the Seagulls this season.

Seaside's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Gladstone, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Seaside and Gladstone could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oregon Rankings. Seaside (ranked 142nd) will meet Marist (ranked 44th) at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Gladstone will take on Sutherlin at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday down 179 places (200 vs. 21).
