The 6-foot-2, 216-pounder is the nation's
No. 96 recruit according to MaxPreps, as well as the No. 4 outside linebacker.
Alexander picked the Tigers over home-state schools Auburn and Alabama.
During his final prep season, Alexander made 55 tackles including 14 for loss during his first four games. He then tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right leg in his fourth game and was lost for the remainder of the season.
Alexander, who made 133 tackles as a sophomore and 147 as a junior, had 24 scholarship offers and reportedly runs the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds.
Alexander was a running back coming into high school but switched to linebacker as a sophomore. He is the teammate of defensive back
Trae Elston, who is ranked No. 122 overall and the No. 5 safety.
Alabama had the No. 1-ranked recruiting class, while LSU was 14th and Auburn was 21st heading into National Signing Day.
