Park Crossing takes loss despite strong efforts from Chris Simms and Jayden Scott

The Park Crossing Thunderbirds were the 66-59 winner over the Charles Henderson Trojans when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Park Crossing took a 62-43 bruising from Charles Henderson on Tuesday. Park Crossing has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jayden Scott and Chris Simms certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Scott scored 16 points, while Simms scored 12 points.

Park Crossing's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Charles Henderson, they pushed their record up to 14-10 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Park Crossing and Brewbaker Tech will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Brewbaker Tech will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 262nd, while Park Crossing is ranked 90th). As for Charles Henderson, they will head out on the road to challenge Greenville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Greenville has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 15.
