Hinkley not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 24, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Overland Trailblazers. The Thunder were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Trailblazers, so the Thunder were just returning the favor.

While Hinkley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 25-23.

Daniela Medina paced Hinkley's offense, picking up five kills. Medina got some help from Ruby Rueda and her 14 assists. Rylee Mansanares controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Hinkley has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hinkley will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Kennedy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Overland, they will host Centaurus at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
