Softball Recap: Russellville Comes Up Short

Russellville lost against Warren East back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers lost 16-1 to the Raiders.

Russellville dropped their record down to 7-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Warren East, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3.

Looking ahead, Russellville will face off against Todd County Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rebels have averaged an impressive 10.4 runs per game this season. As for Warren East, they are taking a road trip to challenge Barren County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight.
