Softball Recap: West Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven

West waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the El Segundo Eagles. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Eagles back in March, they had to take a 8-0 loss.

West's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for El Segundo, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-5.

Coming up, West will take on South at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for El Segundo, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles are facing the Saxons at the right time seeing as the Saxons are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
