Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Piedmont). They took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 64-0 win over the Northwest Classen Knights. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won six in a row.

Piedmont now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Northwest Classen, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Piedmont is set to take on their familiar foe Grant at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Northwest Classen will face off against rival Stillwater at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th.
