Softball Recap: Lee County Trojans vs. Taylor County Vikings
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Coffee, Lee County was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They had just enough and edged the Taylor County Vikings out 4-3. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.
The victory got Lee County back to even at 12-12. As for Taylor County, the loss snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 19-7 record.
Lee County will take on Veterans at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Veterans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Lee County's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Taylor County, they are taking a road trip to take on Marion County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
