Softball Recap: Orting Comes Up Short

Orting lost against Olympic back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Orting Cardinals fell just short of the Olympic Trojans by a score of 5-4. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madalynn Halte was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Orting's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Olympic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Orting will head out on the road to challenge Kingston at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Olympic, they will welcome Ridgefield at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
