Baseball Recap: Perkiomen School Panthers vs. John Carroll Patriots
Perkiomen School proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the John Carroll Patriots 2-1.
Ryan Sink spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits.
On the hitting side, Perkiomen School's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Avery Smith, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double. Those hits marked the first that Smith has got this season.

The Friars will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight.
