Volleyball Recap: Tabb Comes Up Short at Home Against Jamestown + How To Watch

Tabb unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Jamestown Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Tabb sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 13-25, 25-23, 24-26, 16-14.

Kira Van Deusen went supernova For Jamestown., getting 22 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Van Deusen has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Tilley, who had three digs and two aces.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Tabb is set to challenge their familiar foe Bruton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Jamestown will square off against rival Warhill at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
