Baseball Recap: Shenandoah Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Shenandoah's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Clarinda Cardinals on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, with their most recent defeat being a 4-3 loss back in June.

Shenandoah's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Clarinda, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-15.

Shenandoah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clarinda, they will face off against Underwood on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so the Cardinals' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
