Basketball Recap: Kimbo Denney Key Part of Team Effort in Bears Win

Cheyenne/Reydon won the last time they faced Hydro-Eakly and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bears enjoyed a cozy 41-25 victory over the Bobcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Cheyenne/Reydon got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kimbo Denney out in front who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Those 11 boards gave Denney a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Bogges, who posted 12 points.

Cheyenne/Reydon's record now sits at 2-0. As for Hydro-Eakly, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Cheyenne/Reydon will square off against Arnett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Hydro-Eakly, they will be playing at home against Canute at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
