Volleyball Recap: Francis W. Parker Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Francis W. Parker lost against Latin last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Colonels took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Romans.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-20.

Julia Ladner paced Francis W. Parker's offense, picking up four kills. Ladner got some help from Lilah Weed and her seven assists. Weed also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ashley Williams, racking up two apiece.

Francis W. Parker now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Latin, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Francis W. Parker didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against North Shore Country Day on the 24th.
