Preview: North Harrison Shamrocks vs. Worth County Tigers

North Harrison has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Worth County Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Harrison has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

North Harrison scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They snuck past South Harrison with a 67-61 win. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Meanwhile, Worth County waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins but they left with six. They managed a 57-51 win over Princeton. 57 seems to be a good number for Worth County as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Caleb New and Tyler New were among the main playmakers for Worth County as the former scored 17 points and the latter dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. New hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Cole Ruby was another key contributor, scoring nine points.

North Harrison pushed their record up to 5-7 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Worth County, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.

North Harrison opened the new year with a less-than-successful 46-34 loss to Worth County. Can North Harrison avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
