Basketball Game Preview: Hamilton Cardinals vs. Pleasant Hill/Western Wolves

The Hamilton Cardinals will challenge the Pleasant Hill/Western Wolves at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Last Wednesday, everything came up roses for Hamilton against Lewistown as the squad secured a 52-13 victory. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Jadyn Climer, who posted 19 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. Jaiyden Huston was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pleasant Hill/Western). They claimed a resounding 51-12 win over Seymour. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Hamilton and bumps their season record up to 7-3. As for Pleasant Hill/Western, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3.

Hamilton was able to grind out a solid win over Pleasant Hill/Western when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 39-32. Does Hamilton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pleasant Hill/Western turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
