Lakeview had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Housatonic Mountaineers as they made off with a 22-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won seven contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Lakeview got a massive performance out of Hadley Casey, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs and two RBI. That's the most runs Casey has posted since back in April. Riley Sauvageau was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs.

Lakeview always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .535. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Housatonic only posted an OBP of .211.

Lakeview's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Housatonic, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Lakeview will take on Immaculate at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Housatonic, they will square off against Thomaston at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
