Lakeview had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Housatonic Mountaineers as they made off with a 22-1 victory. Lakeview's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Housatonic, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Lakeview will take on Immaculate at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Housatonic, they will square off against Thomaston at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
