Berea proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat the Pickens Blue Flame by a goal, winning 4-3. Stephanie Zavala-Ayala was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Berea is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four games. As for Pickens, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Coincidentally, Berea and Pickens will both be playing Greer the next time they take the pitch. The Blue Flame will head out to face the Yellow Jackets at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
