Softball Recap: Nardin Academy Comes Up Short

Nardin Academy lost against Nichols on April 7th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Gators fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 6-4. The Gators just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Adeline Lugo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Scarpace, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Nardin Academy's record is now 1-5. As for Nichols, their record now sits at 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nardin Academy will host Bishop Kearney at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Nichols, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mount Mercy Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Magic have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season.
