Basketball Recap: Catoosa Comes Up Short

Catoosa has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost to the Skiatook Bulldogs at home by a 69-55 margin on Monday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Indians came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 177th).

Catoosa's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Skiatook, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season.

While Catoosa had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
