Softball Recap: Westmoreland Falls to Adirondack in First Game of Season

Westmoreland had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Adirondack Wildcats, falling 9-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 7-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

The victory (which was Adirondack's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Adirondack wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 12-4 defeat against Poland on the 17th. Hopefully Westmoreland paid attention to the Wildcats' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on the 29th.
