Volleyball Recap: Roswell Takes a Loss

Roswell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Miyamura Patriots.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Miyamura to victory, but perhaps none more so than Giada Wagner, who had nine digs and two aces. That's the most aces Wagner has posted over her last six matches. Kenna Briggs was another key player, getting 12 digs.

Roswell's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Miyamura, the win snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 5-7 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Roswell will face off against Artesia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Miyamura, they will square off against Piedra Vista at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
