Baseball Recap: Kearny Takes a Loss

Kearny lost against Francis Parker back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Komets came up short against the Lancers, falling 16-1. The Komets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kearny saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nicolas Hembera, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Hembera is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Kearny's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Francis Parker, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-1.

Kearny has already played their next matchup, an 11-2 defeat against Morse on the 8th. As for Francis Parker, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 win against Clairemont on the 9th.
