            After a string of nine wins, Gladstone's good fortune finally ran out  on Thursday. The  match between the Gladstone Braves and the Negaunee Miners didn't end well, with the Gladstone Braves falling  58-44. While losing is never fun, the Braves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while the Miners are ranked tenth).

 Gladstone wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  game,  a  52-36  victory against Houghton on the 6th. As for Negaunee, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  53-33  win against Escanaba on the 6th.
