Volleyball Recap: Covina Comes Up Short

Covina came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Wilson Wildcats, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 25-17.

Covina has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Wilson, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Covina will host West Covina at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wilson, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Montebello at 4:45 p.m.
