Sunnyside has gone 8-2 against McLane recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Wildcats will face off against the Highlanders at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Sunnyside beat Madera South 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Stallions: they've now won four in a row.

Sunnyside had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-17, 25-15, 25-18.

Meanwhile, McLane made easy work of Fresno on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Sunnyside's record is now 8-18-2. As for McLane, their record now sits at 14-19.

Sunnyside beat McLane 3-1 when the teams last played back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
