It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Milford Tigers had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 50-40. Winning may never get old, but Milford sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Milford's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tayleah Spaulding, who scored 18 points along with four steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Spaulding has scored at least a third of Milford's points. Another player making a difference was Miley Willden, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
The victory got Milford back to even at 13-13. As for Bryce Valley, they now have a losing record at 13-14.
