Softball Recap: Lawrence Central Comes Up Short

Lawrence Central lost against Decatur Central back in April of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bears lost 14-3 to the Hawks. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lawrence Central saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rebecca Radcliffe, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double. That double was Radcliffe's first of the season.

Lawrence Central's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Decatur Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lawrence Central will venture away from home to square off against Beech Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Decatur Central, they will head out to challenge Plainfield at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
