Baseball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Central's offense. They came up short against the Fletcher Wildcats on Friday, falling 23-0. The Bronchos have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Fletcher, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Waurika at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.63 runs per game on average), something the Bronchos will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Fletcher, they will head out on the road to face off against Okarche at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
