Basketball Game Preview: Marist RedHawks vs. Benet Academy Redwings

Marist hasn't had much luck against Benet Academy recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Marist RedHawks will host the Benet Academy Redwings at 2:30 p.m. Marist has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Wednesday, Marist humbled De La Salle with a 57-23 victory. The RedHawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of 22 wins, Benet Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 55-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Nazareth Academy.

Benet Academy's defeat ended a 17-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 22-2. As for Marist, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.
