Football Game Preview: Chesapeake Bay Hawks vs. Lansdowne Vikings + Official Tickets

The Chesapeake Bay Hawks are taking a road trip to square off against the Lansdowne Vikings at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Chesapeake will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

Chesapeake is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Loch Raven by a score of 28-18 on Saturday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bay Hawks as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Dakari Noble had an outrageously good game as he threw for 157 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 36 yards.

Chesapeake didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Loch Raven to a completion percentage of just 44%. The Bay Hawks weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 87%.

Chesapeake's defense didn't let Cai Perry, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Mehki Alston, Michael Cook, and Avery Hines, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 32 points the game before, Lansdowne was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They took a blow against Northeast, falling 44-8.

Lansdowne's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Chesapeake, their record is now 2-3.

Chesapeake suffered a grim 36-16 defeat to Lansdowne when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Bay Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
