Soccer Recap: Strathmore Comes Up Short

Strathmore managed to keep up with Woodlake until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Spartans lost 5-1 to the Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Strathmore of the 4-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2025.

Their goal came courtesy of Diego Garcia, who's now up to 13 this season.

Strathmore now has a losing record of 7-8-6. As for Woodlake, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-9-3.

Strathmore didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Corcoran on the 5th. As for Woodlake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Farmersville on the 5th.
