Baseball Recap: Clinton Prairie Gophers vs. Benton Central Bison
There's no place like home for Clinton Prairie, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They never let the Benton Central Bison get on the board and left with a 23-0 win on Monday. The contest marked the Gophers' most dominant victory of the season so far.
Jackson Price made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. In other batting news, Alex King and Malachi Corbin did most of the damage at the plate: King went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Corbin scored two runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4.
