Football Recap: Ayden Branch Key Part of Team Effort in Broncos Win + How To Watch

Franklin's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They snuck past the Colonial Beach Drifters with a 12-8 victory. For the Broncos, this counts as revenge for the 30-28 win the Drifters walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Franklin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ayden Branch, who rushed for 64 yards, and also threw for 34 yards and one touchdown. Those 64 rushing yards gave Branch a new career-high.

Franklin now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Colonial Beach, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
